LG Electronics needed to build trust and drive sales for its new high-end LG Styler and other niche products, especially before they were widely available in stores. To do that, LG turned to Bazaarvoice and its Sampling program to collect authentic reviews and user-generated content that could reassure shoppers and support product launches.
Using Bazaarvoice Sampling, LG sent products to targeted members of the sampling community and pre-populated retail pages with reviews before launch. The campaign delivered strong results: 100% of recipients submitted reviews, generating 10 reviews with an average 4.9-star rating, plus detailed photo-backed feedback that helped improve product messaging and supported more conversions and revenue at retailers.
