La Redoute, a leading French ready-to-wear and home décor retailer operating in 26 countries with €750M revenue growth since 2016 and the 2018 acquisition of Galeries Lafayette, needed to continue rapid growth, strengthen its international reputation, and increase sales. To support its digital transformation, the company adopted a customer‑centric strategy focused on consumer‑generated content (CGC) to turn shoppers into advocates and reinforce trust—especially important given that about 90% of sales occur online.

La Redoute implemented Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews, collecting reviews via its mobile app L’Atelier and tapping the Bazaarvoice network of 6,000+ brand and retail sites to aggregate content. The site now hosts over 800,000 reviews (30% sourced from brand sites), which has boosted online conversion, consumer confidence, customer engagement, and retail sales, while deepening customer relationships and paving the way for future on‑site Q&A functionality.
