Fat Tire Tours, a provider of bike, walking and Segway tours across Europe and North America, needed a scalable way to capture and amplify guest feedback—both written reviews and visual content—to tell its story, influence bookings and improve operations. The company wanted customer remarks and photos front-and-center so prospective travelers could see authentic experiences and make better decisions.
Fat Tire partnered with Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews and Bazaarvoice Curations to collect and display thousands of reviews and user photos/videos from the site and social channels. The program drove strong results: 46% of site visitors read reviews, interactions with reviews produced a 49% lift in conversions, and interacting with curated visuals made visitors 17% more likely to book; insights also prompted product changes (e.g., “Skip the Line” tours), better customer service and staff recognition.
