Dole Packaged Foods, the fruit brand behind products like canned pineapple, smoothie blends, and juices, needed a stronger way to increase awareness across its retail and ecommerce channels. To do that, Dole partnered with Bazaarvoice and its UGC and ratings-and-reviews tools, including ReviewSource, to build a customer review program from scratch and better showcase how shoppers use its products.
Using Bazaarvoice’s always-on ReviewSource, Dole quickly syndicated reviews to retailer sites and boosted recipe engagement through managed sweepstakes. In just seven months, Bazaarvoice helped Dole collect 2,300+ new reviews with a 4.7-star average rating, increase quarterly content from 30–70 pieces to 200–400, and drive a 64% conversion rate lift among shoppers who engaged with UGC.
