Conrad’s Review Programme Significantly Increases Conversion Rates

Conrad, a major German electronics retailer and one of the country's largest online shops, sought to increase its online and offline sales by better leveraging customer conversations. To address this challenge, they partnered with the vendor Bazaarvoice and implemented its Conversations solution to harness the power of user-generated content.

Bazaarvoice worked with Conrad to launch a review program supported by a post-purchase email campaign. This solution successfully converted visitors into buyers and buyers into reviewers. The results were significant, with Conrad reporting a conversion rate more than twice as high for shoppers who read reviews. The email campaign also drove an exceptionally high response rate, generating a six-digit number of reviews that provided valuable customer insights and strengthened brand loyalty.
