Blue Diamond, a new ceramic non-stick cookware brand from The Cookware Company, launched via the As Seen On TV channel and faced typical consumer skepticism around product claims. The challenge was to rapidly establish credibility and encourage purchases by demonstrating product quality across retail sites.
Blue Diamond used Bazaarvoice TryIt sampling to send 95 targeted samples (100% of recipients submitted reviews) and Bazaarvoice Brand Edge to syndicate that content across retailers. The TryIt reviews averaged a 4.8 rating, were 300% longer than other reviews, and helped surface product insights; syndication produced about 2,000 reviews (93% via the brand), boosting conversion, retailer confidence, and overall brand reputation.
