Tom Wood Automotive Group, a Minnesota new and used vehicle dealership, needed to automate its e-commerce photography, speed the process of adding new vehicles to its website, and improve online photo quality to encourage sales. To meet these goals, Tom Wood engaged Bastian Solutions to design and install a custom low-profile turntable for 360° vehicle photography.

Bastian Solutions delivered an 18' diameter, 10,000 lb-capacity, 9" low-profile turntable with four direct-drive motors and camera synchronization to enable full 360° imaging. The system automated and synchronized the photography workflow, reduced the time required to process and upload each vehicle, and improved online photo quality to better support sales.
