Robotic Machine Tending & Deburring faced rising demand and needed an efficient way to add a fourth CNC while reducing intensive manual labor. Bastian Solutions delivered a robotic machine tending and deburring system (via Bastian Robotics) using a FANUC R-2000iB robot with a custom part‑gripping end‑of‑arm tool, a Bastian custom slat conveyor, integrated cable management and safety/control hardware to automate loading, verification and deburring across all machines.

Bastian Solutions’ integrated cell now services all four CNCs, enabling robotic verification and axially compliant deburring while improving operator ergonomics and providing up to 20 minutes of unattended run time. The deployment increased CNC utilization by at least 25%, boosted daily throughput by nearly 350 parts (more than 80,000 parts per year), and substantially raised overall operational efficiency.
