McCormick worked with Bastian Solutions to address a high-speed palletizing challenge for multiple product lines in a very small footprint. The company needed to palletize very heavy layer weights, handle both wide- and narrow-leading cases with one end-of-arm tool, and maintain a consistent rate of 40 cases per minute.

Bastian Solutions implemented a full layer robotic palletizing system featuring a FANUC Robotics M-410 palletizing robot, a custom full-layer end-of-arm tool, carton scanning, case conveyor, and selective turning corner. The system exceeded the target by maintaining 45 cases per minute, improved operational efficiency, and provided streamlined controls with greater visibility for the end user.
