Gardner, Inc. sought to reduce operational costs and improve customer service while carefully selecting a new warehouse management solution. After evaluating multiple WMS vendors, Gardner chose the Exacta WMS but needed a partner who could integrate it with their CODIS host system; Bastian Solutions had already developed a CODIS interface and experience with the CODIS team, giving them an advantage in the selection process.

Bastian Solutions implemented Exacta WMS (with Exacta WCS and RF handheld devices) and integrated it with CODIS, replacing paper-based, manual receiving processes. As a result, dock-to-stock time dropped from an average of 3–5 days to 24–48 hours (about a 50% improvement), inventory accuracy has been easier to maintain or improve from its prior 99% level, and receiving productivity and inventory control were significantly streamlined.
