PAX, a leading cannabis vaporizer brand, partnered with Basis Technologies as a Media Execution client to navigate shifting regulations, a challenging cannabis ad landscape, and the need to find new audiences. As a new entrant to digital advertising, PAX needed to test channels, formats, messages, and inventory while protecting brand image and focusing on business-moving metrics.

Basis Technologies ran a multi-phase digital campaign across programmatic and site-direct inventory (13 partners) with display, video, and native ads on desktop, mobile, and tablet, targeting open-minded A21+ and niche segments with about 340M impressions. The campaign delivered strong performance: 2,200+ sales attributed to advertising, $64 cost-per-store-locator (goal $75), 80% video completion rate (goal 70%), and $170 cost-per-acquisition (goal $175), showing Basis Technologies’ platform and media execution drove efficient audience discovery and measurable results.
