Drew Marine, a global provider of marine chemicals and equipment with 20 offices and 600+ employees, inherited scattered sites and no IT team after a company sale, leaving vital data unprotected. Tape backups proved impractical—shipping, rotation, and manual handling were inefficient across time zones and locations, and most sites lacked dedicated IT staff—so the company sought an affordable, easy-to-use centralized backup solution.

Drew Marine deployed eight Barracuda Backup appliances (four 190s and four 490s) with cloud replication and central management.
