West Nottinghamshire College (WNC) is a further education provider in northern England serving 14,000 students and 800 staff and managing about 4,000 college-owned devices. Facing a surge in phishing, business email compromise (BEC) and low user cybersecurity awareness during a migration to Microsoft 365, the college wanted a cloud-based, easy-to-manage email security solution rather than native Microsoft tools or on-premises systems.

WNC deployed Barracuda Email Protection and Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup, adding Impersonation Protection, Incident Response and Security Awareness Training; the main security features were up and running in under an hour.
