BoomTown, a CRM platform for the real estate industry, faced a growing problem: agents were texting leads from personal phones, leaving critical conversations and response-time data outside the CRM. To capture those interactions and surface best-practice metrics, BoomTown selected Bandwidth and its Communications APIs (and mobile SDKs) as the messaging partner to bring texting into the platform.
Bandwidth provisioned local-area phone numbers and worked with BoomTown’s engineers to integrate its Communications APIs and SDKs into BoomTown’s web and mobile apps (rolled out in Q2 2015). As a result most brokers enabled the feature, all text activity is automatically logged in the CRM, and BoomTown can now measure response rates, identify top agents and sales channels, and report improved consumer response to texting—outcomes BoomTown credits to Bandwidth’s solution.
