Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust, one of only four children’s hospital trusts in the UK with around 3,000 staff, faced a major administrative burden from paper board packs — roughly 104 pages per pack across multiple meetings and about 58,500 pages printed annually — causing long printer queues, jams and heavy staff time spent preparing materials. To meet NHS security requirements and get a cross‑platform, adaptable solution, they evaluated several options and chose Azeus Convene (Convene).

Azeus Convene implemented its Convene paperless meeting platform with cross‑platform apps, offline access, drag‑and‑drop PDF conversion and custom administrator levels. The result: printing was reduced by about 58,500 pages a year (nearly 60,000), board‑pack preparation time fell from roughly five hours to about 30 minutes, and Convene has been rolled out across board and sub‑committee meetings with growing uptake across the organisation.
