CITB Receives Excellent Technical Support for 150 Users through Convene Board Portal System

The Construction Industry Training Board needed a secure, easy-to-use board portal for its board, executive and sub-committee meetings and, after a competitive tender, selected Convene from Azeus Convene. As a public body with high security requirements, CITB moved from a previous solution in February 2015 because Convene best met its criteria for ease of use, features, support and cost for roughly 150 users.

Azeus Convene delivered the Convene board portal along with initial and follow-up training, a dedicated account manager and 24/7 technical support, plus features such as document annotation and sharing. The outcome is strong user satisfaction—about 150 active users (including eight board members and five executives) praise the visual presentation and intuitiveness—faster administration, ongoing product improvements driven by CITB feedback, and a clear improvement over their former system.
