A Azeus Convene Case Study
ChemCert, an Australian industry non-profit and peak accreditation body established in 1999, faced a time-consuming paper-based process of preparing 194 board packs a year (80–100 pages each) that took up to a week to assemble and often contained outdated information by meeting time. To solve this, they adopted Azeus Convene’s board books software (Convene) in June 2016 to support remote directors and streamline board pack distribution.
Azeus Convene implemented a cloud-based board portal with instant file updates, secure document storage, voting and meeting tools, enabling ChemCert to cut board book preparation from one full week to one day, run more efficient teleconferences, and make quicker decisions between meetings. The smooth transition reduced administrative burden, improved governance and compliance, and proved more cost-effective and user-friendly than other solutions ChemCert trialed.
