Mutual of Omaha, a 100+-year-old financial services firm, needed to modernize how it trains a diverse frontline workforce that no longer stays in the same role for decades and that must adapt quickly to changing business and remote-work realities. The challenge was delivering timely, role-specific learning at scale—while giving leaders visibility into skills gaps and keeping employees engaged.
Starting in 2017 they implemented Axonify to deliver bite-sized, personalized learning paths and self-directed content, and to rapidly deploy COVID-related training from Axonify’s Content Marketplace. The program drove strong engagement and measurable impact: key areas reached a 91% participation rate, employees trained 10–15 times per month on average, and the company achieved a 17% knowledge lift while remaining agile through the pandemic.
