Proximus Chooses Awingu to Create a Flexible and Mobile Working Environment

Proximus, a Belgian telecom and ICT provider with over 14,000 employees, needed a secure, flexible way to enable employees to work from offices, shops, homes and the field. To meet this challenge it chose Awingu to provide browser-based, device-agnostic access for use cases such as shop-in-the-shop sales, telework (BYOD) and field technician workflows.

Awingu was rolled out to give Proximus staff secure access to applications and data on any device, improving user experience for teleworkers and field teams and replacing heavier laptops with tablets for on-site tasks. The Awingu deployment shortened and lowered the cost of setting up new shop-in-shop locations, boosted internal collaboration and increased productivity for remote and field workers.
