Software Company Gets Paid a Week Faster Using AvidXchange Software

Smart Training, a Texas-based provider of regulatory compliance training software for dental, medical, construction and oil & gas customers, relied on mailed invoices that typically took 7–10 days to be paid and generated ongoing paper, envelope and postage costs. The manual process also made it hard to track invoice status and scale the business efficiently.

In May 2020 Smart Training began emailing invoices to AvidXchange and using AvidXchange’s ACH direct-deposit service. Payments now arrive in one to two days (about a week faster), the company saves roughly $5 per invoice by eliminating paper and postage, gains clear visibility into invoice status, reduces administrative burden, and is positioned to expand the service to as many as 50 additional dental customers.
