Avaya wanted to create a global demo facility that would wow guests with its latest video collaboration solutions while also serving as a practical working space for staff. To do that, Avaya turned to AVI-SPL and integrated Radvision video collaboration technology into the new Video Exchange at Research Triangle Park, including telepresence, desktop video conferencing, large displays, audio, projection, and control systems.

AVI-SPL built four interconnected areas—a conference room, exposition space, collaboration room, and production studio—so Avaya could demonstrate easy, real-world video collaboration across desktops, mobile devices, and multiple office locations worldwide. The result was a highly flexible hub that became a template for other offices, supported demos and internal communications, and led Avaya to hire AVI-SPL for three additional integrations afterward.
