Campus dispatchers lacked reliable location identifiers for 911 calls, slowing response times and complicating emergency handling.

WCU deployed Avaya Communication Server 1000 with Conveyant Sentry E911 to automatically populate precise location data (down to room level), update locations when VoIP phones move, and alert IT to changes. The result was much faster, more accurate dispatch — officers arriving in 2–3 minutes in tested incidents versus 15+ minutes previously — improving overall campus safety and dispatcher efficiency.
