Torrestir Upgrades to More Efficient Telephony Management with Avaya

Torrestir, a multinational company with four main sites and more than 20 remote offices across Portugal, Spain, Germany and Mozambique, engaged Avaya partner Orcinus to simplify its telephony landscape. The brief was to reduce the number of PBXs, improve inter-site stability and redundancy, unify fixed and mobile communications, and lower overall communications costs.

Orcinus implemented the Avaya IP Office platform with VPN connectivity to make remote sites appear “on‑network,” centralize call control at headquarters and enable distributed call answering. The result was lower fixed and variable telephony costs, fewer missed calls, improved customer service and more reliable, centrally managed communications for traveling staff and external partners.
