The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) runs a marquee annual convention alongside the NCAA Final Four that brings roughly 3,000 coaches together and requires the association to recreate its full office capabilities on site. Previously the on‑premises mobile command center took up to two days to configure and risked communication disruptions during the event or an emergency relocation.

NABC moved its communications into Allegiant’s cloud and deployed Avaya IP Office with Avaya one‑X to create a plug‑and‑play Mobile Command Center. Setup now takes minutes, staff retain their regular phone numbers, SIP-based redundancy boosts reliability, and the change has delivered smoother event operations, continuous reachability across venues, and higher satisfaction from coaches and vendors.
