W. Bruford, a family-run jeweller in Eastbourne established in 1886 with three stores, faced an aging in‑store server and Panasonic phone system that offered limited functionality, no wireless connectivity and little resilience. M‑Tech Systems implemented a cloud-hosted Avaya Powered by IP Office solution (with Citrix integration), migrating ISDN to SIP trunks and deploying Avaya 9608 IP phones plus Yealink DECT handsets on a monthly rental model. The changeover was completed with minimal downtime, staff training and remote management; results included improved intersite call handling and audio quality, simplified administration, future-proof scalability and telecom savings of over £250 per month.
