Grupo Marta Relies on Avaya’s Communication Solutions

Grupo Marta is a family-run Costa Rican leader in hospitality management, development and real estate, operating five hotels and three restaurants. The company was hindered by legacy analog PBX systems more than 20 years old, which prevented integration with property management systems and modern guest services and limited operational efficiency and future growth.

Avaya and local partner ETS Solutions upgraded the estate to an IP-based platform (PBX, IP/digital deskphones) and created a virtual centralized hub linking all sites, with responsible recycling of old equipment. The six-month rollout enabled PMS integration, internal dialing, redundancy and immediate operational improvements, delivering estimated cost savings of about 30% and a scalable foundation for initiatives like an in-house call center and enhanced guest services.
