Ángel Mir – Portes Bisbal is a Spanish manufacturer of industrial and residential doors with more than 48 years’ experience and offices in Girona, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville. The company was operating an obsolete Astra switchboard that caused jammed call traffic, limited features and no actionable call data, putting business opportunities and customer service at risk.

Ángel Mir upgraded to Avaya IP Office with DECT 3720 wireless handsets and 1408/1416 digital phones, guided by partners Telpymser and Hermes, who also integrated the system with the company’s ERP. The solution added direct lines and mobile integration as extensions, voicemail with personalized greetings, advanced caller ID and reporting, nine One-X Mobile licenses and faster internal routing—relieving the switchboard, improving call handling and productivity, and supporting roughly 300 incoming calls daily.
