How Pfizer Captured Attention on Campus With a Solid EVP

Pfizer sought to strengthen its employer brand and capture the attention of top university talent in China during the COVID-19 era, when in-person engagement was limited. To showcase its EVP and run high-tech campus events (including an AI Mozart concert), Pfizer partnered with the Avature platform to streamline promotion, registration and candidate engagement.

Using Avature, Pfizer ran targeted WeChat and email campaigns (email open rate ~65%), hosted customized registration sites, automated applications and used QR check-in for events, all on a single platform that tracked conversion from lead to hire. The Avature reporting framework showed clear impact: two hires traced to the concert, more than 40% of domestic applicants came from top schools, 30% of overseas applicants were from high-ranking universities, and Pfizer won multiple employer-branding awards as a result.
