Case Study: L’Oréal achieves 75% internal fills and boosts internal mobility with Avature's POP platform

Preview of the L’Oreal Case Study

How L’Oréal Unlocked Hidden Talent With Internal Mobility

L’Oreal found that limited visibility into internal career opportunities was a major driver of turnover—internal surveys showed large numbers of employees wanted clearer paths and the company set a goal to fill 75% of externally posted vacancies with internal talent. To tackle this, L’Oreal partnered with Avature to design an internal mobility platform, building on their existing Avature referral portal to create POP (Positions Open Portal).

Avature launched POP across 70 countries in August 2018, giving employees control to discover and apply for jobs, set custom vacancy alerts, share postings, and enabling HR to flag active job seekers. The Avature-built solution produced strong outcomes: 81% of openings are posted internally first, 75% of career-site positions are filled by L’Oreal employees, a 40% increase in roles filled by internal candidates, plus measurable recruitment cost/time savings, higher retention and improved succession coverage.
