Case Study: European Central Bank achieves scalable talent growth with Avature

A Avature Case Study

Preview of the European Central Bank Case Study

European Central Bank’s Path to Continuous Talent Growth

The European Central Bank, a multinational financial institution with about 4,500 employees, needed a more scalable way to support talent acquisition and employee development. Before working with Avature, its screening process was fragmented across spreadsheets, creating silos, duplicate work, synchronization issues, and bias, while its mentoring program was too manual for HR to sustain. ECB needed technology that could adapt to its processes rather than forcing process changes.

With Avature ATS and mentoring portal, the European Central Bank digitized candidate screening, enabled panel scoring in a controlled portal, automated score averaging and workflow steps, and improved communication and feedback to candidates. Avature also relaunched ECB’s mentoring program with profile-based matching, chemistry meetings, and built-in feedback tracking. The results included 147 mentors and 375 mentees subscribed within a year, 87 ongoing mentorships, and 63 open mentorships, alongside better scalability, reduced manual effort, and improved visibility through real-time reporting.
