OS Data Solutions, a joint venture between Ströer and Otto Group, needed a reliable way to verify the quality of its targeting data because clients buy its data based on on-target percentage. To validate performance, the company partnered with AudienceProject and used its cross-media audience measurement platform.
AudienceProject measured campaigns run with and without OS Data Solutions’ targeting data across different precision levels. The results showed a significant lift in on-target percentage across gender and age groups, with more than 100% uplift for most age groups even at low-precision, high-reach settings, and a peak lift of 327% in the 40–49 age group at high-precision, low-reach settings. This independent verification helped OS Data Solutions prove the value of its targeting data to clients.
