Regional Healthcare Provider Group, which operates 21 hospitals and nursing homes with more than 8,000 beds, 14,000 employees and 250,000 patients annually, faced insufficient access control across roughly 50,000 switch ports and 23,000 endpoints and lacked a current inventory of IT assets. To secure diverse medical and IT devices while preserving necessary network access, the group selected Auconet and its Business Infrastructure Control Solution (BICS) for vendor-independent, multi-tenant Network Access Control (NAC) and persistent infrastructure monitoring.

Auconet deployed BICS with a primary and backup appliance and a phased pilot across two hospitals, delivering MAC/IP tracking, real-time SAP CMDB updates, and multi-tenant “single pane of glass” control.
