WebEyeCare, an online retailer of contact lenses, glasses, and sunglasses, wanted a better way to reach customers for reorder reminders and product updates while complementing its existing email marketing. The company partnered with Attentive to add SMS as a new channel for customer communication.
Attentive helped WebEyeCare launch SMS using its two-tap mobile signup, then set up a welcome series and abandoned cart reminder messages triggered by shopper behavior. The welcome texts drove a 67.1% CTR and 17.7% CVR, while abandoned cart texts achieved a 17.4% CTR and 22.7% CVR; overall, WebEyeCare’s SMS program generated a 77x ROI.
