Fluren, a family-owned civil and mining business in NSW operating since 1989, faced slow, paper-based processes across widely dispersed sites that made submitting paperwork and accessing forms difficult. To address this, Fluren adopted Assignar’s mobile workforce and equipment management platform to connect teams, digitize pre-start and audit checklists, timesheets and job sheets, and replace manual, paper workflows.

Assignar’s implementation enabled Fluren to go paperless—saving about $10,000 a year on printing—and reduced timesheet processing from 1–2 weeks to 2–3 days as 60 fieldworkers now submit timesheets via the app. Assignar also delivered better visibility of equipment allocation and worker competencies, fewer allocation errors, reduced admin time chasing documents, and supported Fluren’s ability to tender and win projects outside their region with minimal overhead.
