Torq Energy Logistics, a Calgary‑based independent energy logistics and midstream company operating multi‑product terminals and trucking services across Western Canada, needed to modernize its trucking operations. The team faced slow, paper‑based ticketing and invoicing, limited real‑time visibility into driver behavior and fleet status, and the looming Canadian ELD mandate and COVID‑era need to reduce in‑person contact.

Torq implemented AssetWorks Field Service Solution (FSS) with tablets and ELD functionality so drivers, dispatchers, safety supervisors, mechanics and administrators could work in real time. The rollout has sped up ticket submission and invoicing, improved safety monitoring and compliance readiness, and enabled faster operational decisions; with 70 vehicles already using FSS, Torq reports early positive results and expects greater benefits as the fleet is fully deployed.
