Partnering with AssetWorks to Deliver Value-Added Solutions to Risk Pool Members

Washington Counties Risk Pool (WCRP), a member-owned insurance pool serving 26 Washington counties since 1988, needed a better way to manage a large, diverse asset portfolio and improve the quality of data used for underwriting and renewals. With roughly 2,900 buildings, 5,000 licensed vehicles and more than $2.5 billion in insurable value across members, WCRP sought a user-friendly system that would streamline renewals, support appraisals and give members and brokers clearer, more accurate information.

WCRP partnered with AssetWorks to deploy AMP Risk Software (28 users) and engage AssetWorks’ appraisal services (1,300 buildings appraised above $100K). The solution centralized asset records, sped renewals (reducing workload to about one-eighth of previous effort), improved data quality for brokers and insurers, and helped retain members—delivering measurable time savings and strong member satisfaction.
