Ferus, Inc., a Calgary-based oilfield consumables and completions company, needed a single, sophisticated field service solution to replace multiple systems that were causing slow invoicing (2–3 weeks), manual ticketing, higher labor costs, and reliability issues across about 68 units. After evaluating several vendors, Ferus selected AssetWorks FSS to provide single-point tracking, ticketing and invoicing and to improve compliance and operational efficiency.

FSS was implemented quickly with electronic work orders, E-logs, tablets and custom ticketing/DVIRs, piloted with U.S. drivers then rolled out in Canada. Training and adoption were smooth, and Ferus cut billing turnaround from weeks to days—job invoicing time fell from 7–10 days to 24–48 hours—while reducing staffing and resource costs and improving visibility and workflow.
