Denbighshire County Council - Customer Case Study

Denbighshire County Council needed to replace an aging fleet system that no longer met the needs of its growing operation, which manages more than 400 vehicles, numerous plant assets, and over 3,000 drivers. The council wanted a single integrated platform to bring together fleet, fuel, maintenance, driver, hire, and compliance management, and selected AssetWorks and its FleetFocus solution after market research and a competitive tender.

AssetWorks implemented FleetFocus, along with FleetFocus EDGE mobility, to digitize workflows and remove paper-based processes across inspections, defects, work allocation, and maintenance. The result was improved communication between drivers, workshop supervisors, and technicians, better asset and cost reporting, and easier access to compliance data for future DVSA Earned Recognition plans, helping Denbighshire County Council reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
