Dan Berlenbach is the Fleet Services Manager for the City of Long Beach, responsible for a large, data-rich municipal fleet and the bureau’s unusual public-facing towing operation. The integrated reporting and alerts streamlined decision-making, improved maintenance and fueling efficiency, reduced contracting costs by operating 10 city tow trucks in-house, and helped earn Berlenbach the 2019 Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year award.
