BT Local Business is a network of nearly 40 independently owned BT franchise partners that sell to a predominantly SME customer base. Facing a £20bn market opportunity, the network struggled to turn abundant CRM data into actionable insight—sales teams relied on time-consuming manual research to uncover opportunities and understand customer needs.
Artesian was integrated with BT’s Salesforce CRM to add real‑time news, social and firmographic insight, automating research and speeding meeting prep. After a successful pilot and a nationwide, co‑funded roll‑out, BTLB generated 1,315 new opportunities (793 closed) and £6.4m of new revenue in 12 months, achieved a 92% reduction in meeting preparation time and delivered a 26x return on investment.
