Simulated Manufacturing Speeds Up Quoting to Boost RFQ Win Rate

Flex, a global contract manufacturer with a complex supply chain and hundreds of facilities, needed a more consistent way to quote diverse products quickly and accurately. Using aPriori’s digital factories and cost modeling tools, including aP Pro and aP Analytics, Flex aimed to solve inconsistent quoting and improve its RFQ win rate.

aPriori helped Flex roll out standardized simulated cost models across sites worldwide after a successful pilot in Guadalajara, Mexico, then expanded to China, Europe, and Malaysia. The result was a minimum 35% reduction in time-to-quote, up to 80% for some parts, and Flex’s overall RFQ win rate increased from 15% to 68%.
