Goodgame Studios, maker of Big Farm Mobile Harvest, Bitlife DE and Empire: Four Kingdoms, struggled with unreliable install reporting after iOS 14: their internal Marketing Campaign Optimization Dashboard and a separate SKAN dashboard produced conflicting numbers and twice-counted installs (for example when iOS users were attributed by both AppsFlyer and SKAN). Lead Performance Marketing Alexey Gusev needed a single source of truth to make profitable UA and budget decisions and worked with AppsFlyer to resolve the SKAN attribution gaps.
AppsFlyer delivered its Single Source of Truth (SSOT) via Conversion Studio and the AF SDK, using one bit of the SKAN conversion value to flag and deduplicate installs; Goodgame configured SSOT with a single button press so the SDK marks SKAN postbacks when a non-SKAN attribution exists and AppsFlyer removes duplicates. The result was a unified, trusted install report—easier revenue projection, budgeting and optimization, a decreased revenue error margin, and the confidence to scale or pull partners based on accurate data.
