The Power of Customized Reporting How Tripledot Studios Levelled-Up Their Cohort Data

Tripledot Studios, a London-based mobile games studio founded in 2017, needed far more granular, trusted data to drive hundreds of daily decisions across user acquisition, monetisation and product. They were struggling to easily access install, cost and event data at the level of Source, Country, Site ID and Campaign, so Tripledot turned to AppsFlyer’s Cohort reporting API and its Custom Measures & Custom Dimensions to get programmatic access to cohort and cost data for deeper analysis.

AppsFlyer’s solution let Tripledot pull cohort data into their BI system, build bespoke metrics (for example a Cost Per Cumulative Event) and create highly specific cohort groupings like “Tier 1 Countries” or “Hypercasual Sites,” with cost accuracy down to country, source, campaign and site ID. The collaboration with AppsFlyer improved operational UA optimisation and real-time decision making, contributing to Tripledot’s rapid scale-up — including a 10x growth rate in 2019 — and measurable improvements in how they measure and manage acquisition costs.
