Supersonic from Unity, a leading mobile game publishing solution, needed a way to scale user acquisition efficiently on Meta while balancing hybrid monetization across in-app ads (IAA) and in-app purchases (IAP). As rising CPIs made ROAS harder to maintain, the team turned to AppsFlyer’s measurement and ROI measurement capabilities, including ROI360, to better optimize by user value and market.
AppsFlyer, together with Meta’s Value Optimization for In-App Ads (VO IAA), helped Supersonic feed real-time ad revenue signals into Meta’s optimization model and separately optimize IAA and IAP campaigns. The results were strong: D7 ROAS increased by 42% in Merge Miners, installs grew 4x in Bridge Race, and the new approach contributed 53% of Supersonic’s total Meta spend within six months while supporting expansion into new high-growth markets.
