Kabam, a Vancouver-based mobile game developer behind titles like Marvel Contest of Champions and Shop Titans, needed to understand and scale the impact of remarketing as their install base grew. Faced with resource-intensive channel-level measurement, Kabam turned to AppsFlyer and adopted AppsFlyer’s Incrementality solution (along with its Audiences tool) to more quickly and reliably measure remarketing performance.
Using AppsFlyer’s Incrementality and Audiences tools, Kabam ran an 8-week randomized remarketing test on Facebook for Shop Titans, splitting lapsed players into test and control groups and tracking results daily. AppsFlyer’s solution showed an almost 20% incremental lift in revenue, similar retention gains for paying and non-paying players, and a 4X higher purchase conversion among non-paying players exposed to ads—insights that let Kabam optimize CPAs, reallocate budget, and confidently scale remarketing.
