A AppsFlyer Case Study
inDrive, the ride‑hailing app operating in 710 cities with over 200 million installs, struggled to measure campaign performance as it expanded into new markets because self‑reporting networks and walled gardens limited user‑level data. Working mainly with TikTok, Meta and Google Ads left roughly a third of paid install data hidden, making campaign‑level attribution and effective audience targeting essentially “impossible.”
AppsFlyer implemented its Data Collaboration Platform (building on its role as inDrive’s mobile measurement partner), using privacy‑enhancing technologies to securely combine inDrive’s first‑party data with restricted publisher data and produce aggregated, actionable reports. The result: AppsFlyer helped inDrive uncover up to 90% of previously “Restricted” attribution data, enable accurate campaign‑level CPI/CPA and custom breakdowns, and dramatically improve budget allocation and marketing efficiency.
