Fetch Rewards, a Madison, WI–based mobile shopping app, faced high fraud exposure as it scaled diverse user-acquisition campaigns across programmatic, affiliate, content, and influencer channels. Their previous attribution provider left them reacting to spikes in fraud, threatening ad spend and data quality, so Fetch Rewards engaged AppsFlyer and its Protect360 fraud-detection solution to gain proactive protection.

AppsFlyer’s Protect360 delivered real-time and post-attribution detection with custom Click-to-Install Times (CTIT) rules and a shared dashboard for transparent partner reporting, enabling joint action against fraudulent actors. In 12 months AppsFlyer’s solution blocked hundreds of thousands of fraudulent installs and events and saved Fetch Rewards more than $750,000 in fraud (about $590k real-time and $175k post-attribution), including roughly 330,000 blocked fraudulent installs and 160,000 blocked in-app events, allowing the team to confidently run UA at scale.
