A AppsFlyer Case Study

Preview of the Halodoc Case Study

Extending healthcare services to remote users by optimizing marketing reach

Halodoc is an Indonesian digital healthcare app that connects patients with doctors, labs and pharmacies and sought to expand access in remote areas by growing first‑time users while protecting marketing budgets from fraud. To tackle these twin challenges Halodoc partnered with M&C Saatchi Performance and AppsFlyer, leveraging AppsFlyer’s Cohort Report for user-level measurement and Protect360 for mobile ad fraud protection.

AppsFlyer’s Cohort Report refocused acquisition on customer CAC and lifetime behavior, and Protect360 identified and removed fraudulent partners and installs. As a result AppsFlyer-powered campaigns raised the share of first complete orders from digital marketing from 40% to 57% (a 71% increase in first‑time consultations), lifted consultations by 19% QoQ, cut measured fraud from 56% to 1.3%, cleaned over 25% of activity infected by fraud, saved about 30% of digital ad spend, and delivered a 37% increase in average transactions per user.
