Achieving stability at scale: the approach of a live game streaming app

Loco, an Indian live game-streaming and eSports platform, was rapidly expanding beyond SRNs into affiliate networks and OEM app stores but lacked visibility into multi-channel campaign performance, struggled to scale UA on Google and Meta, and faced sophisticated ad fraud and broken ad-to-app experiences. To tackle these challenges, Loco partnered with AppsFlyer, leveraging AppsFlyer’s measurement suite and SDK along with Protect360, the CX and Deep Linking Suite, and Multi‑Store Android Attribution.

AppsFlyer implemented its SDK, Protect360 fraud prevention, deep linking and multi-store attribution, and custom in‑app events (one, three, five minute video watches) plus unique streamer links to enable accurate attribution and funnel optimization. The result: install-to-one-minute-watch conversions jumped to 45% (a 125% improvement), streamer-referred users posted 55% Day‑1 and 35% Day‑7 retention and ~55 minutes/day engagement, and fraud mitigation cut monthly ad spend by about 25%, allowing Loco to optimize campaigns and scale confidently.
