Carrefour wanted to make its pre-made meal offering digitally available to millions of customers, but needed more than a website: it needed a seamless browse-to-buy experience and an interactive platform to support growing customer demand. Appnovation, building on its work for Carrefour’s Bonus Card loyalty website, was brought in to create a bespoke digital strategy and development plan for the Simply You Box meal platform.

Appnovation conducted a technical analysis of the existing platform, redesigned the user experience, and used Drupal 8 to improve functionality, accessibility, and eCommerce capabilities. The result was an optimized meal box platform that expanded Carrefour’s digital ecosystem and opened up a new revenue stream, while ongoing support and maintenance helped maintain client satisfaction.
